Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Value I've been using a Fluke Ti95 for a while, and it's a great value. I am a commercial and industrial electrician, Level I Thermographer, and this tool is a great frontline thermal imager. It helped track down a high resistance fault in a 250HP motor overload relay, that would have otherwise kept us puzzled. It's been useful in other troubleshooting scenarios, ruling out possible problems and pointing us in the right direction. The unit is intuitive, and easy to use. The ability to adjust the emmissivity and background temp settings are great on an entry level thermal imager. Fluke Connect, while still having some issues, is a great data management system for organizing multiple measurements from a variety of devices: DMMs, Clamp Meters, Thermal Imagers, even limited data from Power Quality Analyzers! For troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems, this is a simple, effective, and easy to use frontline diagnostic device.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finding trouble before it becomes trouble I work as a volunteer electrician on the WWII museum ship USS Slater. Can you imagine keeping a 73 year old piece of machinery in working order without the benefit of a supply chain? Slater is a National Historic Landmark, the last of over 500 built during WWII that is still afloat and in original condition. I depend on my Fluke TI95 imager to routinely survey electrical panels, fan and pump motor bearings, wetted lagging, etc. Even the tiniest air leaks in the ship's service air piping system show up, since compressed air cools as its pressure drops. I need to spot thermal anomalies visually, but I really do not need high precision that a more expensive imager offers. The TI95 is an excellent tool for the price, and it fits my needs perfectly. The TI95 is worth every dime I paid for it and more. With it, I can spot trouble while it is easy to fix, without losing an original part of the ship to a catastrophic failure. Without it, it would be impossible to maintain this historic memorial to those who bravely served on this type ship in WWII, Korea and VietNam eras.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Did not meet my expectations I decided to buy one Ti95 for our service crew and I was disappointed when I first used it. There is simply very low detail available for our use which is for electrical service and maintenance. (There are other models of course, but they are already more expensive). One reason I decided to choose Fluke rather than FLiR or the other brands is the Fluke Connect App. I just found out that Fluke Connect is not available in my country (Philippines). I can't understand why a country of 100 million people with a lot of engineers and electricians not supported by Fluke properly.
