Important Recall Information Regarding
700HPPK/700HPM, High Pressure Pneumatic
Calibration manifold, 21 MPA

Dear Fluke Customer,

Fluke Corporation has identified a safety issue affecting all 700HPM, High Pressure Pneumatic Calibration manifold, 21 MPA. Fluke asks that all customers who have this product or the kits below to immediately stop using this product. Please follow the instructions below to register your product for this recall and arrange for it to be returned to Fluke for repair.

The affected manifold was included in the models below.

As a consequence of the identified safety issue, Fluke has decided to recall the 700HPM (High Pressure Pneumatic Calibration Manifold) from all models stated above and provide impacted customers with immediate rework to their product.

Note that units with serial number 6516XXX and above, are not affected and therefore not concerned by this recall measure.

Also note that units with a serial number below 6516XXX which have been reworked to resolve the safety issue can be identified by a separate label on the back of the unit indicating “CO-0000582”, the “Recall Correction Label”, as indicated on the picture below. No further action is required for units with this Recall Correction Label.

A. Description of safety issue

During manual pressurization of the equipment, the plunger nut threads of the High-Pressure Pneumatic Calibration Manifold may yield releasing the plunger assembly and allowing it to be ejected at high velocity. This can result in serious injury to the user. The threads securing the plunger assembly have been found to fail prematurely.

1.3 This is the portion of the manifold that has the potential to eject.

B. Corrective Action

Please IMMEDIATELY STOP using your product. Please register your Recalled manifold following the below instructions. The link will instruct you on how to return your unit manifold to Fluke for immediate rework and return.

For Customers in MEAT region, bring the Recalled manifold to the local distributor in your region & they can return your defective manifold back to Fluke so it can be reworked and returned to you at no charge.
