Will "Fluke 287 True-RMS Electronics Logging Multimeter" log the Ohm measurement and temperature the measurement is at?
Yes the Fluke 287 True-RMS Electronics Logging Multimeter can log an ohm measurement or it can log a temperature measurement, but these functions can not be logged at the same time.

Good day! In the logging form, it showed the Reading, Sample, start time, Description & Stop Time etc., can I ask in the Description what does "Interval", "Unstable" and "Stable" mean? when, why & how these descriptions occur?
Rated 5 out of 5 by kablab from Great DMM This is a fantastic and rugged measurement tool. People sometimes complain about the "ghosting" of the display, but fail to recognize the important role the font plays in mitigating the difficulty in reading fast changing values in real-time. "Ghosting" can greatly hinder perception in a 7-segment display, but its important to remember that the reason is due to the large percentage of shared segments between most numbers in a 7-segment display. The font used in the 287/289 DMMs gives each number a very unique shape which can be read very easily even during rapid changes. The only downside to this meter are the tiny detents used to secure the stand in place. These detents wear relatively quickly and the stand deploys randomly from time to time which can make it a little difficult to maneuver it in and out of snug cases. It is ultimately a marvelous tool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Andrew_M from Great meter - last meter you will buy! An excellent meter, with a wealth of features. For me, the key feature was the low level of current that can be measured - essential when testing battery powered devices.
No disappointments in terms of the quality from Fluke - I'm quite sure this will be the last multimeter I buy for a long, long while!

Rated 1 out of 5 by srnickels from Display is ghosting (less than 1 year old), I've had this meter for less than a year. It has a ghosting issue. For example when it displays a "0" there are two ghost lines that appear on the left and right side of the "0" that go up and down the display. This happens for all digits and it causes the menu bar at the bottom to looked striped. It would be nice to add a photo, but that feature on this web site is another thing that doesn't work. I also if the IR-USB adapter and that thing falls off the meter if you sneeze too hard near the meter.

Rated 1 out of 5 by DamoreEngineering from Quality Control Issues, Can't find a good one. bought one and it arrived with a weird blotchy texture on the yellow rubber area. I returned it, ordered another one from another dealer Tequipment and it arrived with the same blotchy problem on the yellow rubber boot. That unit also had a tear on the bottom rubber boot as well as shipping damage impact on one of the top corners. I bought one 3 years ago and it was perfect. My engineering department demands the best and I can't seem to find that with fluke anymore. Please help.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AJJLM from Fluke 287 with Flukeview forms I have use fluke DMM for years in college, high school, and for professional and personal use (hobbyist).
I bought the Fluke 287 for two reasons: Robust functions and data logging. I am a Arduino hobbyist. I use the meter to read voltages for PWM, detect relay switching, measure current in micro-amp range and troubleshooting a project.
I also use the DMM for learning. Currently, I am studying (self-study) circuit analysis operational amplifiers. The 287 make is easy to verify calculations and lab results.
Also, Flukeview Forms allow for exporting of .csv file for charting in excel.
I really like the Fluke 287.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Buddieroyal from The last meter you will buy I bought my 287 back in 2008. It has every feature I need and then some. I love the logging capabilities, being in the refrigeration field I use the temp logging and graphing quite a bit. Several months ago the meter stopped working. I loved it so much I shipped it to fluke for repair expecting a high repair bill. I was happy to know the repair was free of charge due to the LIFETIME WARRANTY on the 287.
